Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Food Clerk to deliver friendly, knowledge-based service in our Fresh departments, helping customers find what they need and keeping displays fresh. You will stock, rotate, and merchandise products, use store technology to complete tasks, follow food safety standards, and collaborate with teammates across departments.

Prior retail or food service experience is helpful but not required. Weekly pay and scheduling flexibility are part of our Meijer Rewards, along with education

Qualifications

• Customer-first mindset with strong listening and communication skills.
• Comfort learning and using store technology and scanning systems.
• Ability to follow processes and safety standards.
• Attention to detail and ability to stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and standing long shifts.
• Previous retail or food service experience is helpful but not required.
