Responsibilities

• Prepare items per customer requests using proper bakery equipment.
• Offer product samples to help customers discover new items.
• Inform customers of bakery specials.
• Provide customers with fresh products that they ordered and ensure correct portion size.
• Recommend bakery items to customers to meet their needs.
• Use bakery equipment (refrigerators, freezers, ovens) per guidelines.
• Prepare and mix ingredients per recipe using utensils and equipment.
• Label and inventory ingredients and merchandise.
• Check product quality and review sell-by dates.
• Maintain proper temperatures in cases and coolers; keep logs.
• Promote trust and respect among associates.
• Create welcoming environment and assist customers with questions.
