Job summary

St. Barnabas Health System in Pennsylvania is seeking an experienced Bakery Clerk for Rochester and Tusca N Save locations. You will provide high-level customer service, suggest products, assist with special orders, stock cases, and prepare displays including decorated cakes for delivery or pickup.

You must follow food safety and sanitation standards and help with daily cleaning and duties as assigned. The role requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally, read and write

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Able to read/write basic documentation and count.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of customer service.
• Make product suggestions and assist customers with special orders.
• Stock cases and ensure a variety of high-quality bakery items.
• Place cakes in boxes or on display stands.
• Arrange for delivery or pickup of decorated cakes.
• Ensure complete compliance with food safety and sanitation requirements throughout daily work.
• Clean and sanitize dishes, food preparation areas, and equipment.
• Performing any additional duties assigned by management.
