Job summary

Uncle Giuseppe's is seeking a Bakery Clerk (BOH) for our gourmet bake shop. You will be responsible for making dough, packing items, and baking croissants, muffins, and cookies.

Ideal candidates enjoy working with gourmet baked goods, thrive in a fast-paced store environment, and can handle early morning and weekend shifts. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(K), and employee discounts on lunch and in-store shopping.

Qualifications

• Flexibility to work around customer demands, including early morning, night, weekend and holiday availability.
• Must be able to speak, read and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe work environment.
• Prepare dough, pack bakery items, prepare bakery cookies, cakes, pastry, etc. for oven baking.
• Remove all baked goods from oven onto cooling racks to prepare them for next steps (decorating, piping, boxing, etc).
• Clean and sanitize all work surfaces, utensils and equipment in accordance with Uncle Giuseppe's standards.
• Maintain and properly use all department equipment as required.
• Rotate products to ensure freshness of our gourmet pastry and bakery products.

If you enjoy baked goods in a gourmet store environment, you will love our Bakery Clerk (BOH) position! We have an immediate need for a Bakery Clerk (BOH) in our gourmet bake shop! are responsible for making pizza dough, packing out bakery items, traying and baking croissants, muffins, and cookies.

Responsibilities

1. Maintain a clean, neat, organized and safe work environment
2. Prepare dough, pack bakery items, prepare bakery cookies, cakes, pastry, etc. for oven baking. Remove all baked good from oven onto cooling racks to prepare them for next steps (decorating, piping, boxing, etc)
3. Clean and sanitize all work surfaces, utensils and equipment in accordance with Uncle Giuseppe's standards
4. Maintain and properly use all department equipment as require
5. Rotate products to ensure freshness of our gourmet pastry and bakery products
6. Other duties and functions as assigned
