Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Food Clerk to deliver friendly service, share product knowledge, and maintain clean, well‑stocked departments. You will interact with customers across Fresh departments and help them find what they need in a fast‑paced store environment.

The role emphasizes strong communication, a customer‑first mindset, and the ability to use store technology to complete tasks accurately while following safety and quality procedures.

What You'll Do

As a Food Clerk, you play a key role in creating a fresh, welcoming, and well‑run store experience within our Fresh departments.

You'll:

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates

• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards

• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
