Job summary

Market of Choice is hiring a Bakery Clerk for our Bend, Oregon location. You will assist customers with selecting and recommending our baked goods, from cakes to doughnuts, bagels and more.

Training is provided, no experience is required, and you will join a high-energy, team-focused environment. Expected duties include occasional cashiering, stocking, and maintaining related equipment, along with general housekeeping to keep the bakery area inviting and efficient for customers.

• Preference for open availability.

Join our bakery team for an opportunity to advance in your bakery career to become a Baker or Cake Decorator.

Being a Bakery Clerk is a fun way to engage in your community and learn new things. No experience necessary, we will train you! Positions start at $18.50/hour to$21.00/hour.

DUTIES

Market of Choice employees create a pleasant in-store atmosphere and provide knowledgeable and friendly customer service. Our bakeries include something for every occasion and every taste, from cakes to doughnuts to bagels. Market bakeries provide homemade baked goods for busy people who crave both freshness and convenience. Bakery staff must be motivated, able to embrace a team environment and have effective communication skills.

As a Bakery Clerk, you will assist customers in selection & recommendations of our delicious products.

Some of your duties will also include:

• Possible cashiering duties
• Stocking
• Helping maintain related equipment
• General house-keeping

Expect a high-energy, team-oriented environment where you will accurately prepare customer orders in a prompt and courteous manner.
