Job summary

Walmart's Sam's Club bakery in Medford, NY is hiring a Cake Decorator to assist customers and drive bakery sales. You will work with a team to ensure quality decorations and product presentation, following recipes and safety guidelines while using decorating tools to create flowers and lettering on bakery items.

You will participate in maintaining inventory, controlling waste, and supporting seasonal events, while embracing a culture of integrity and service excellence.

Qualifications

• 6 months' experience in fresh production area
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must successfully complete all trainings and assessments within prescribed time period

Responsibilities

• Team Member: collaborates with cross functional teams, educates others, maintains inventory and shrinkage control
• Expert: plans bakery productions, ensures quality, follows recipes and safety standards, handles decorating tools
• Techie: leverages digital tools and hand held tech to drive sales and product quality
