BAKERY/CAKE DECORATOR (Finance)

Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages customers to return. Assist the department manager in reaching sales and profit goals established for the department and monitor all established quality assurance standards. Minimum qualifications:

• Retail experience
• Baking or cake decorating experience
• Ability to handle stressful situations
• Knowledge of basic math
• Effective communication skills

Desired qualifications:

• Second language skills (speaking, reading, writing)
• Ability to create a welcoming environment and assist customers with product questions and suggestions
• Knowledge of bakery products and ability to prepare bakery items, including wedding cakes
• Decorating skills for cakes, pastries, cupcakes, and cookies
• Inventory management and product labeling
• Understanding of store layout and product location
• Adherence to health, safety, and food safety regulations
