Bernatello's Foods in Kaukauna, WI is seeking a Bakery Back-Up Lead on second shift. The role supports the Line Lead, covers mixer duties, and ensures production runs smoothly on nightly hours.

Responsibilities include setting up lines, operating and troubleshooting bakery equipment, following safety, HACCP, and SQF guidelines, and maintaining strict recipe and lot numbering discipline. Full-time with benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and understand English instructions.
• Mechanical aptitude is required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency while maintaining productivity.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.

Responsabilités

• Follow GMPs, SOPs, HACCP, and SQF rules.
• Act as backup for Line Lead and Mixer; understand all bakery positions.
• Set up line and equipment; operate and troubleshoot machines safely.
• Follow cleaning schedule; manage flour stock per FIFO; document lot numbers.
• Report maintenance needs via work orders; unload bulk flour when needed.
• Maintain communication with bakery team; fill in for bakery positions as needed.

Requirements

• Pay Rate: $23/hr + $1 Shift Differential
• Schedule: S-Th, 9:30pm-5:30am
• Full-time position, with benefits package (medical, dental and vision insurance)
• $1,000 Referral Bonus

Responsibilities:

• Follow all GMPs, SOPs, HACCP, and SQF rules
• Understand the role of the Line Lead and Mixer and work as their first backup
• Understand and can perform all positions in the bakery
• Set up the line and equipment
• Safely and efficiently operates and troubleshoot machines and equipment
• Follow a cleaning schedule
• Change flour stock according to schedule
• Mix ingredients following a strict recipe, establish and document lot numbers of blends.
• Report any major maintenance problems by completing a work order and submitting to maintenance
• Unload bulk flour trucks when necessary
• Maintain communication with all bakery team members and the Line Lead
• Use raw materials based on FIFO
• Monitor product for good quality
• Follow all safety guidelines
• Fill in for any bakery position when necessary
