Job summary

BJ's Wholesale Club is seeking a Bakery Team Member to join our in-store bakery team. You will be responsible for proofing, baking, and displaying bakery goods, ensuring quality, freshness, and safety across shifts.

You will operate bakery equipment, package finished items, and support the team in maintaining cleanliness and product standards. This role emphasizes fast, friendly service and adherence to club standards.

Qualifications

• Bakery production and display following charts and safety standards.
• Maintain cleaning and safety standards in the bakery.
• Prepare products for the next business day and handle special orders.

Responsibilities

• Proofs and bakes unfinished bakery goods using ovens and equipment.
• Unpacks bakery goods from the freezer and displays according to production charts.
• Packages baked goods (cookies, pastries, breads, pies, cakes) as needed.
• Decorates special orders or case products and ensures accurate pricing.
• Rotates and stores bakery products following food safety and freshness guidelines.
• Receives, inspects, and stores bakery shipments and maintains product quality.
