Job summary

UNFI/Cub bakery team is seeking a motivated associate to prepare and wrap bakery products, stock and face items, and assist customers with questions.

You will work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays, and perform department cleanup. The role is on site with physical duties and long-standing requirements.

Qualifications

• Equipment operation (shrink wrap, label machine, bread slicer, knives, bakery racks, etc.).
• Able to walk long distances and stand for long periods of time.
• The position requires on-going customer interaction, providing prompt, courteous and accurate service.
• Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.
• Have the ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; write identifying information; request supplies verbally or in writing.
• Must be able to work shifts varying in length and time, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be 18 years of age and older.

• Stock, rotate and face bakery product
• Perform clean up of department
• Assist with department merchandising as directed
• Assist with customer questions or requests
