Job summary

85C Bakery Cafe is hiring Store Front Associates in Tigard, OR for flexible full-time/part-time roles. We seek energetic individuals who deliver friendly, efficient service and are eager to learn bread, cakes, and drinks.

You will work in a fast-paced team, cross-train across Bread, Cake, POS, and Bar, maintain high standards, and comply with health regulations. Weekend availability is strongly preferred and you must be at least 18.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or higher.
• Fast food or retail experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
• Acceptable verbal English communication skill.
• Excellent work ethic and teamwork concepts.
• ServSafe certification preferred.
• Available to work at least 20 hours a week; weekend and holiday availability strongly preferred.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Associates are expected to provide customers with a level of service beyond the customer's expectation, while showing sensitivity to their individual needs.
• Make a memorable connection and commit to making each guest's experience the best
• Teamwork, follow direction and work together with the store management team to deliver outstanding service; to create an uplifting work atmosphere, for both your fellow employees and the customers.
• Job specific duties including baking bread, decorating cakes and making drinks.
• Be on time for all scheduled shifts and adhere to all company policies and guidelines.

• Store associates will be expected to cross train in each department including: Bread, Cake, POS, Bar.

This position requires moderate physical activity.
