85°C Bakery Café is seeking enthusiastic Associates for entry-level roles at the Arden Fair location in Sacramento. You’ll participate in daily bakery operations, customer service, and teamwork to deliver quality pastries and beverages.

Candidates should be 18+ with a High School diploma, strong organization, willingness to work weekends, and the ability to stand for long periods; ServSafe certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Decorate quality 85C baked goods.

• Be punctual for shifts and follow company policies.
• Cross-train in Bread, Cake, POS, and Bar.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Decorate quality 85C baked goods.
• Maintain a clean and healthy work environment.
• Perform daily operations, including separating, filling and baking.
• Teamwork, follow direction and work together with the store management team to deliver outstanding service.
• Provide sufficient breads and maintain quality to meet 85°C standard and complete designated tasks perfectly.
• Be on time for all scheduled shifts and adhere to all company policies and guidelines.
• Store associates will be expected to cross train in each department including Bread, Cake, POS, and Bar.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or higher.
• Fast food or retail experience is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
• Acceptable verbal English communication skill.
• Excellent work ethic and teamwork concepts.
• Enforce Health Department Regulations and be ServSafe certified.
• Weekend and holiday availability.
• MUST BE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OF AGE TO APPLY.

Physical Requirements

This position requires moderate physical activity. Employees must have sufficient strength to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position including moderate lifting (50 pounds), walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting and use of heavy machinery such as forklifts, pallet jacks, etc. This position requires nearly continuous standing and walking, repetitive hand motions, and reaching overhead. Employees may be exposed to unusual elements including extreme temperatures of coolers and blast freezers.
