Job summary

Lowes Foods is seeking a friendly bakery associate to greet guests, assist with product preparation, and maintain high standards of freshness and sanitation in the bakery department.

You will perform duties from greeting guests and pricing items to stocking, cake decorating assistance, and ensuring the bakery cooler and prep area remain clean and organized, all while delivering fast, courteous service to every guest. This role requires light lifting and the ability to stand for extended periods.

• Keep supply area neat and tidy at all times.
• Perform front end duties to ensure no noticeable wait.
• Announce specials and sale information on PA system.
• Assist in product receiving and storage.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

3. 3. Maintain product level, quality and freshness.
4. 4. When requested perform clerk function of cake decorating.
5. 5. Maintain sanitation standards in the cooler, freezer, prep area and sales area.
6. 6. Communicate guest requests to management.
7. 7. Communicate temperature breakdowns to supervisor.
8. 8. Keeps supply area neat, clean and tidy at all times.
9. 9. Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
10. 10. Performs front end duties to insure “no noticeable wait” standard is maintained.
11. 11. Announce specials and sale info on the PA system.
12. 12. Assist in product receiving and storage.
