Job summary

Moscow Food Co-op Bakehouse in Moscow, Idaho is seeking a skilled Baker to join our team. This role produces and packages a wide range of baked goods, handles special orders, and ensures products are attractively merchandised.

The Baker will maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen, assist with deliveries to Co-op locations, and work with the Bakery Manager to meet customer service and sales goals.

Qualifications

• Previous baking experience preferred.
• General kitchen knowledge and basic math skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Self-motivated, team-oriented, personable, and enthusiastic.
• Ability to interact positively with a wide range of customers.
• Must have (or be able to obtain) Idaho Health Department Food & Safety Certification.
• Clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Bake, prep, and merchandise a variety of baked goods.
• Complete special orders with accuracy and care.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment.
• Drive the Co-op vehicle to deliver products to multiple locations.
• Work cooperatively with other team members and follow supervisor directions.
• Support team success by being punctual, reliable, and proactive in planning absences.
