Position Summary... Do you have a knack for helping people, following recipes and organization? Our Bakery/Packager associates prepare fresh baked items daily for our members through follow recipes and wrapping, labeling, and storing merchandise to ensure our members have the freshest items available to take home to their families. There are times when you will juggle several tasks in a short amount of time while helping members with their bakery orders. It’s hard work, but our bakery team finds it rewarding, especially since they’re a part of a large team with a common goal: happy, satisfied members.

Responsibilities

• Prepare bakery merchandise based on daily production needs, following recipes, make-up instructions, and company standards
• Wrap, label, and store merchandise to maintain freshness, food safety, and Cold Chain compliance
• Ensure quality and date control standards; eliminate waste; secure fragile and high-shrink merchandise
• Use hand-held technology to support production planning, inventory, and ordering decisions
• Assist members with bakery orders and provide friendly, knowledgeable service across the club as needed
• Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked work areas and displays
• Operate, maintain, and sanitize baking equipment safely and effectively
• Collaborate with associates to keep the bakery running smoothly and be flexible to support other areas as needed
