Job description

A Day in the Life:

As a Baker, each day brings a variety of tasks focused on preparing fresh, high-quality baked goods for customers. You’ll prepare breads, pastries, cakes, and desserts using established recipes and production methods while ensuring consistency and quality. You will measure, mix, shape, and bake products, as well as decorate items such as cakes and specialty desserts.

Throughout the day, you’ll organize and maintain a clean, safe work area, rotate and label ingredients, and ensure products are displayed in full, well‑stocked, and visually appealing cases. You’ll partner closely with bakery team members to plan daily production needs and keep operations running smoothly.

Customer interaction is also part of the role—you’ll assist customers with product questions, take special orders, and help create a positive experience through friendly and efficient service. This role operates in a fast-paced environment where consistency, organization, and attention to detail help ensure product quality and customer satisfaction.

• Baking & Production Knowledge: Experience preparing breads, pastries, and desserts using recipes, measurements, and baking techniques

• Technical & Equipment Use: Ability to safely operate mixers, ovens, and bakery equipment following established guidelines


• Physical Capability: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move items, and work in varying temperature environments (ovens, coolers, freezers)

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older


• Prior baking or food production experience preferred


• Availability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
