Job summary

Bruegger's Bagels in Pittsburgh is seeking a Baker to start early, stock the bagel wall and pastry case, and help guests with orders and sandwich preparation. You will contribute to a fast-paced team focused on quality food and friendly service.

We value teamwork, customer service, and maintaining a clean, safe store. This daytime role offers a friendly, no-evening schedule and opportunities to grow with the brand in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to work varied hours, including early mornings and weekends.
• Must pass background check as applicable with local, state, and federal law.
• Possession of a valid driver's license preferred at some locations.

Responsibilities

• Stock the bagel wall and pastry case to ensure availability.
• Provide guest service including order taking and sandwich assembly.
• Maintain a clean, safe store environment.
• Support team with general tasks as needed.

We are looking for a Baker!

We wouldn’t be much if we didn’t have our bagels, and a bagel is only as good as the person who bakes it! The baker is first in our hearts and the first ones in our bakeries. Our Bakers arrive early (as early as 3AM) turn on a podcast or their favorite band and take care of what makes us who we are – bagels!

What’s a day in the life of a Baker?

Our Bakers ensure quality product is available each shift by stocking the bagel wall and pastry case. We work as a team to provide excellent guest service by helping with order taking, sandwich making, etc. Our teams take pride in ensuring the quality of the food and beverages we serve; and by keeping a safe and clean store environment. What we are looking for:

• - Must be at least 18 years or older

• - Must be able to work varied hours/days as business dictates including early hours (as early as 3am depending on the restaurant) and weekends
• - Must be able to pass background check as applicable with local, state, and federal law
• - Possession of a current, valid, state issued driver’s license (always preferred but only required at specific locations) and meet the driving qualifications as required by Company policy
