Job summary

Bruegger's Bagels in Pittsburgh is hiring a Baker who starts as early as 3AM to stock the bagel wall and pastry case, and to assist with order taking and sandwich making. You’ll be part of a team focused on quality and guest service, working to keep our stores busy and welcoming.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years or older.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability for early hours (as early as 3am) and weekends.
• Must be able to pass background check as applicable with local, state, and federal law.
• Possession of a current, valid, state issued driver’s license and meet driving qualifications as required by policy.
• Tip eligibility subject to state regulations.

Responsibilities

We wouldn’t be much if we didn’t have our bagels, and a bagel is only as good as the person who bakes it! The baker is first in our hearts and the first ones in our bakeries. Our Bakers arrive early (as early as 3AM) turn on a podcast or their favorite band and take care of what makes us who we are – bagels!

Our Bakers ensure quality product is available each shift by stocking the bagel wall and pastry case. We work as a team to provide excellent guest service by helping with order taking, sandwich making, etc. Our teams take pride in ensuring the quality of the food and beverages we serve; and by keeping a safe and clean store environment. What We Are Looking For

• Must be at least 18 years or older

• Must be able to work varied hours/days as business dictates including early hours (as early as 3am depending on the restaurant) and weekends


• Must be able to pass background check as applicable with local, state, and federal law
