Job summary

Bagel Brands is hiring a Baker for its Houston location. The role starts early (as early as 3AM) to ensure fresh bagels and pastries and supports guest service with orders and sandwich making.

As part of a team, you’ll help maintain quality, a clean store, and a friendly atmosphere. Must be 18+, able to multi-task, and able to work varied hours, including early mornings and weekends. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work varied hours including early hours (as early as 3am) and weekends.
• Able to pass background check where applicable.
• Driver's license preferred but only required at certain locations.
• Tip eligibility subject to state regulations.

Responsibilities

• Stock bagel wall and pastry case each shift to ensure availability.
• Assist with order taking, sandwich making, and guest service.
• Keep store clean and maintain a safe work environment.
• Work as a team to support quality and guest experience.

Our Bakers arrive early (as early as 3AM) turn on a podcast or their favorite band and take care of what makes us who we are – bagels!

Our Bakers ensure quality product is available each shift by stocking the bagel wall and pastry case. We work as a team to provide excellent guest service by helping with order taking, sandwich making, etc. Our teams take pride in ensuring the quality of the food and beverages we serve; and by keeping a safe and clean store environment. What We Are Looking For

• Must be at least 18 years or older
• Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to work varied hours/days as business dictates including early hours (as early as 3am depending on the restaurant) and weekends
• Must be able to pass background check as applicable with local, state, and federal law
• Possession of a current, valid, state issued driver’s license (always preferred but only required at specific locations) and meet the driving qualifications as required by Company policy
