Sodexo is hiring a Baker at ITAWAMBA COMMUNITY COLLEGE - Fulton Campus to prepare baked goods according to recipes and production specifications. You will follow Sodexo culinary standards to ensure quality and presentation of pastries and bakery items for guests.

The position requires the ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work varying shifts. Full-time employment with benefits including paid time off, holidays, medical, dental, vision, and tuition reimbursement.

Competenze

• High School diploma or equivalent
• 1 year of related bakery experience preferred
• Experience in a bakery or pastry role is a plus

• Check daily production schedules and follow Sodexo recipes to bake a variety of items from scratch (bread, rolls, muffins, cakes, pastries).
• Weigh and measure ingredients, mix doughs, shape dough, and bake items to specification.
• Regulate oven temperatures, monitor times, and ensure products are served at proper temperatures.
• Set up and stock bake shop area; maintain organization, storage, labeling and dating of products.
• Attend shifts on time and maintain safety and cleanliness in the bake area.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds when needed.

They will follow all Sodexo culinary standards to ensure that pastry and bakery items are of the highest quality in taste and appearance to satisfy guests. The general responsibilities of the position include those listed below, but Sodexo may identify other responsibilities of the position.
