Job summary

Albertsons Companies Inc. in Bath, ME is seeking a passionate Baker to craft breads, cookies, pastries, and decorate cakes. No two days are the same as you bring pride to your work, delight customers with fresh baked goods, and share how you create delicious treats.

You'll work with ovens, mixers, slicers and proofers to meet high quality, freshness, and safety standards. Keep display cases neat and well stocked, help customers with a friendly attitude, follow safety guidelines, and participate

Qualifications

• Must enjoy baking breads, cookies, pastries and decorating cakes.
• Strong customer service mindset.
• Ability to work with kitchen equipment and maintain quality.
• Pride in your work and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Bake products to meet high quality, freshness and safety standards.
• Keep display cases and shelves clean, organized and well-stocked.

As a Baker, no one day is ever the same. To truly be successful in the position, you will be passionate about baking breads, cookies, and pastries, as well as producing fancy desserts and decorating cakes. Our Bakers also have the secret ingredient for talking to their customers and take pride in what they are baking, making, and decorating. You will work with ovens, mixers, slicers, and proofers to bake products that meet the highest quality, freshness, and safety standards. When you aren’t rising to the occasion for our customers, you’re helping ensure our display cases and shelves are clean, organized, and well-stocked. Our customers are hungry for what we are serving so come join our team and help satisfy their appetites.
