Job summary

The Robinette Company in Piney Flats is seeking a Quality Technician on 2nd shift to inspect bags and ensure adherence to customer specifications. You will review spec sheets, document returns, and conduct routine quality tests to prevent defects.

This role requires attention to detail, the ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and effective communication to train others and support SQF certification.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of bag making and quality requirements.
• Strong communication skills for training others.
• Knowledge and application of SPC/Standard Deviation is a plus.
• Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) is a plus.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn and grow.
• Detail oriented and able to stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Inspect bags coming off bag machines for defects and verify adherence to specs.
• Review Spec Sheets to confirm customer requirements.
• Document customer returns and disposition outcomes.
• Complete receiving inspections and perform required quality tests.
• Collaborate with plant personnel to prevent defects from recurring.
• Support SQF Certification efforts and other duties as assigned.
