Job summary

Imperial Dade is seeking an Assemble/Production Operator to run the bagging line, manage material feeds, and ensure quality packaging. You will inspect for defects, maintain machine readiness, and support daily box setup and shipping activities.

The role requires physical endurance, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and reliable operation of warehouse equipment. On-site position with standard warehouse hours and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate warehouse equipment.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform manual material handling.

Responsibilities

• Feed rolls into the bagging machine and cut material to length.
• Check material for defects to prevent jams on the track.
• Replace hydraulic staplers with spares during maintenance while keeping the machine running.
• Keep the machine stocked with rolls and staples.
• Receive replenishment stock from the receiving area.
• Pull stapled material down from the machine at the proper length.
• Finish cartridges by setting up chipboard, tying ends with rubber bands, and boxing for track closure.
• Set up chipboard daily to pull specific boxes per contract.
• Receive filled boxes, press overflowing material into boxes, and staple tops to finish.
• Prepare empty boxes for pullers by stapling bottoms, stamping sizes, and stacking for trucks or stock area.
