Job summary

Oshkosh AeroTech, located at Philadelphia International Airport, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for the 3rd shift (10PM - 6:30AM). Responsibilities include troubleshooting and repairing baggage conveyor systems, performing PM inspections, and inputting data into CMMS.

Candidates should have 3+ years in equipment maintenance, and be able to read blueprints and operate safely around BHS equipment. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, and the ability to

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 3+ years in equipment maintenance or maintenance operations.
• Mechanic skills: mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic repair.
• Basic PLC control systems knowledge is a plus.
• Familiarity with airport operations is a plus.
• Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency for documentation.
• Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
• Strong communication and ability to lead tasks.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain baggage conveyor and controls systems.
• Perform PM inspections, dismantling, repair, and rebuilding of equipment.
• Input maintenance data into CMMS with concise details.
• Handle unscheduled maintenance, clears jams, reloads components.
• Maintain mechanical components of the BHS and related systems.
• Install, inspect, and refurbish BHS mechanical parts and assemblies.
• Understand control room operations and possibly perform operator duties.
• Read manuals and work orders to execute required services.
• Complete PM/CM logs and paperwork, ensure accuracy.
• Assist operations with clearing bag jams and safety compliance.
