Job summary

SCIO Automation North America seeks a technical leader to start and head our Baggage/Package Handling Group in the US. Use our control system expertise to design, implement, and scale baggage and material handling across North America.

You will lead cross-functional teams, review specs, and oversee installation while expanding our new office. A strong engineering background with PMP/PE is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Strong technical experience and leadership in baggage handling systems (BHS), package sortation, or automated material handling.
• 5–10+ years in project management with increasing responsibility for large-scale projects.
• Background in engineering, installation, commissioning, testing, or controls integration for logistics/automation.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams including mechanical, electrical, software/controls.
• Airport/aviation or large-scale logistics facility experience is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead the new Baggage/Package Handling Group and scale projects across North America.
• Review specifications and internal standards.
• Oversee installation and coordinate with subcontractors and vendors.
• Manage engineering teams and ensure project success.
