Job summary

PopUp Bagels Fairfield is seeking team members to support catering operations, assist with order coordination, and lead tastings for potential partners. You will gain exposure to different stations in our bagel shop and discuss menu offerings with guests to craft a memorable experience.

• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position (frequently lifting up to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds).

Responsibilities

• Support catering operations by assisting with order coordination and execution, while leading client-facing tastings for prospective partners.

• Speak to current menu offerings, seasonality, and ingredients with guests.
• Make guests' days special with a delicious scratch-made bagel.
• Support the team during peak and off-peak service by pitching in wherever necessary.
• Multi-task and move in the kitchen for extended periods of time.

YOU WILL:

• Support catering operations by assisting with order coordination and execution, while leading client-facing tastings for prospective partners with professionalism, hospitality, attention to detail, a high level of comfort in professional settings, and passion about the brand.
• Gain exposure to different stations within the Bagel shop(s).
• Speak to current menu offerings, seasonality, and ingredients with guests - making their day special as you provide them with a delicious scratch-made bagel.
• Work to support the team during peak and off-peak service by pitching in wherever and whenever necessary.
• Multi-task and move in the kitchen for extended periods of time. These physical requirements may be accomplished with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Help to maintain a minimum standard "A" letter grade by following the Department of Health and PopUp Bagels food safety standards.
