Job summary

Elite Line Services (ELS) is seeking personnel to respond to and correct fault conditions within the BHS System and assist in clearing jams in an airport baggage handling environment.

Excellent safety awareness and the ability to work with technicians on basic maintenance, while adhering to ELS safety policies, are essential. Ability to work weekends/holidays and obtain an Airport Security badge is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Ability to work non-traditional schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to obtain and maintain an Airport Security badge.

Job description

Under minimal direction, is responsible for responding to and correction of fault conditions within the BHS System.

Essential Functions

• Assists in clearing Jams from the baggage handling system
• Assists Technicians or other personnel with basic maintenance such as sweeping, cleaning and greasing.
• Completes all safety training as assigned by the Company.
• Compliance with all ELS safety programs, policies and procedures.
• Perform additional duties/assignments that may be required by management from time to time.
• High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)
• Ability to work a non-traditional schedule including weekends and holidays.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Previous work experience in an Airport environment.

• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and be insurable under the Company's insurance policy
• Must be able to comply with the ELS Drug and Alcohol policy.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Works in all areas located on Airport property. May be around dust, dirt, moving machinery, temperature changes, heights and noise levels below OSHA minimum requirements. Use of PPE is required.
