Job summary

Springville is seeking a part-time Solid Waste worker in Utah. Under the direction of the Solid Waste Field Supervisor, you will operate trucks for solid waste and recycling collection, maintain safety protocols, and perform heavy manual labor tasks.

The ideal candidate will be a high school graduate with a Class B CDL and a safe driving history. Responsibilities include operating heavy machinery, teamwork, and delivering containers to new accounts. Must be physically fit to lift heavy loads and work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
• Must have Class B CDL or higher with a safe driving history.
• Must have knowledge of operation and maintenance of heavy trucks.

Responsibilities

• Operate trucks for the collection of residential solid waste/recycling.
• Perform daily lubrication, inspection, and maintenance of equipment.
• Assist in construction, storm drain collection, maintenance, and cleaning projects.
