Backup Operator 7PM to 7AM page is loaded## Backup Operator 7PM to 7AMremote type: On Sitelocations: Ottawa, Ohiotime type: Full timeposted on: Posted Todayjob requisition id: R6761## **MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES**:## Fundamental responsibility to ensure product safety and quality as it applies to all duties listed below:* ## All related paperwork* ## Taking readings (all bottle measurements)* ## Running the blow molder and all downstream components* ## Cleaning molds* ## Assist with changeovers* ## Evaluates and takes appropriate action to maintain a safe work environment with established standards and guidelines* ## Inspect work areas, and look for unsafe acts/conditions* ## Effectively use verbal and written communications* ## Maintain a clean and safe working environment* ## Perform sweeping, cleaning, sorting duties as necessary* ## Perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and procedures## **EDUCATION:**## **Required:** High School Diploma or GED equivalent## ## **SKILLS:*** ## Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds continuously throughout the shift* ## Work involves continuous lifting, bending, reaching and twisting## **SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:*** ## Willingness to be trained on the following before starting their duties:* ## Blow mold basics 6 wk. Operator Training Course, subject to a formal evaluation at 3 weeks, 6 weeks, and additional periodic intervals by the Trainer and Supervisor and decisions will be made accordingly* ## This position requires the cognitive and mental ability to multitask in a fast paced environment with attention to detail.
