Job summary

Walmart is hiring stocking associates to unload trucks and stock new freight in our Minnesota stores. You should be able to lift heavy objects over 50 pounds and operate heavy machinery such as forklifts. The role emphasizes customer interaction, helping shoppers, and maintaining a clean, efficient backroom and sales floor.

Qualifications

• Stocking associates must be able to lift heavy objects in excess of 50 pounds.
• Ability to operate heavy machinery such as forklifts may also be necessary.

Responsibilities

• You play a major role in how our customers feel when they leave the store. You might be the first, last, and sometimes only associate a customer interacts with.
• The pace can be intense, especially in the evenings, weekends, and holiday seasons.
• There are times when you must juggle several tasks in a short amount of time while helping customers: scan items, explain a price, bag items properly, count cash back, and keep your area clean.
