Job summary

Wegmans is seeking a team member to receive, unload, and organize shipments, ensuring products are stocked, rotated, and ready for customers. You will maintain an efficient backroom and sales floor, following safety and sanitation guidelines.

Responsibilities include unloading deliveries, staging products, reporting issues, and adhering to FIFO practices to preserve freshness, with physical tasks including lifting up to 50+ pounds when required. This role supports the store's daily operations.

Qualifications

• Backroom stocking and product organization.
• Stock rotation using FIFO methods.
• Report discrepancies and inventory issues to management.

Responsibilities

• Unload daily deliveries safely and efficiently.
• Sort, organize and stage products in storage areas.
• Maintain clean backroom and storage areas.
• Rotate products following FIFO to maintain freshness.
• Handle products safely and follow sanitation guidelines.
• Work in cold temperatures and lift 8-32 pounds on average (up to >50 pounds occasionally).
