Job summary

Walmart in California is seeking a part-time stocking associate to unload trucks and stock new freight. You will spend most time in backroom, lifting items and possibly operating forklifts. You must be able to lift over 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Stocking associates unload trucks and stock new freight.
• Must be able to lift heavy objects over 50 pounds.
• Ability to operate heavy machinery such as forklifts may be necessary.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, assist with needs, and provide a positive shopping experience.
• Scan items, explain prices, bag items, and keep area clean and presentable.
• Assist associates across the store as needed, including cart and janitorial tasks.
• Maintain safety and efficiency during busy periods (evenings, weekends, holidays).
