Job summary

This role supports multiple departments—Grocery, Deli, Meat, Produce—and offers weekly pay, team member discounts, and education assistance. Candidates should be 18+, customer-focused, able to learn new tech, and physically active.

Responsibilities

• Build rapport with customers.
• Display a friendly and outgoing attitude through good eye contact and body language.
• Communicating with Meijer vendors and checking in product.
• Utilize powered equipment such as pallet jack, stand up and sit-down forklifts, and scissor lift.
• Handle Hazardous Waste product and processing expired product.
• Responsible for reclamation and cardboard baler.
• Respond to customer questions in an effective manner.
• Stock product and maintain product displays according to merchandising standards.
• Utilize technology to complete activities and tasks.
• Follow safety and sanitation procedures to ensure quality service and products for our customers.
