Job summary

EMT Holdings is seeking a Credentialed Background Investigator in Fort Wayne, IN to conduct comprehensive interviews with subjects, employers, and references and review records to resolve material issues in investigations.

You will document all information and submit detailed reports within strict timelines, travel locally as needed, and maintain a favorable SSBI determination. A BA/BS or equivalent experience and 3+ years in background investigations are required.

Qualifications

• Typically has a University Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience and minimum 3 years of related work experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills, including ability to produce detailed reports.
• Ability to obtain/maintain a favorable determination based on a Single Scope Background Investigation.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive interviews with subjects, employers, associates, references and review records to resolve material issues in a case or establish background, reputation, character, suitability, or qualifications of the subject under investigation.
• Document all information received and submit a detailed report of investigation within a strict timeline.
