Job summary

EMT Holdings in Laredo, TX is seeking a Background Investigator to conduct comprehensive interviews, review records, and resolve issues to establish the subject’s background and qualifications. You will document information and submit a detailed report within tight timelines.

Candidates should have experience in background investigations, strong written and oral communication, and the ability to travel locally.

Qualifications

• Ability to walk, type, sit, or stand for long periods of time.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills, such as typing detailed, extensive, and lengthy reports.
• Experience conducting background investigations.
• Typically has a University Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience and minimum 3 years of related work experience.
• Proven quality, timeliness, and production metrics.
• Ability to obtain/maintain a favorable determination based on a Single Scope Background Investigation.
• A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required as driving is an essential function of this position. May use public transportation if available and practical. Must be willing to travel locally daily dependent on assignment location.

Clearance

Favorable adjudication Top-Secret Clearance based on a T5 or Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI).
