Job summary

EMT Holdings is seeking a National Training Standard (NTS) certified Credentialed Background Investigator to support a government contract at Holloman AFB. You will conduct interviews with subjects, employers, and references and review records to gather facts.

You will document findings and submit a report within a strict timeline, maintain a favorable determination under SSBI/Top-Secret clearance, and travel locally as required.

Qualifications

• A sense of mission in support of national security initiatives.
• An impeccable work ethic, integrity, and can-do attitude.
• Ability to walk, type, sit, or stand for long periods of time.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills, such as typing detailed, extensive, and lengthy reports.
• Experience conducting background investigations.
• Typically has a University Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent experience and minimum 3 years of related work experience.
• Proven quality, timeliness, and production metrics.
• Ability to obtain/maintain a favorable determination based on a Single Scope Background Investigation.
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required as driving is an essential function of this position. May use public transportation if available, and practical. Must be willing to travel locally daily dependent on assignment location.

Clearance

Favorable adjudication Top- Secret Clearance based on a T5 or Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI).
