Job description

Universal Pictures is casting background actors for an upcoming feature film called Miami Vice, starring Michael B. Jordan and Austin Butler. They are looking for men and women to portray glamorous, stylish Miami nightclub patrons in a 1980s-inspired setting. Filming takes place in Brooklyn, New York.

You will help recreate the energetic atmosphere of an upscale 1980s Miami nightclub. Scenes include simulated nightclub activities and scenes involving simulated illegal drug use. You'll need to maintain character expressions, movements, and interactions on camera throughout filming.

You must be ages 20s–40s and Latino or White. You must be local to the New York tri-state area. Men should have some hair length; natural bald heads and certain sideburn styles are acceptable. You must be comfortable portraying glamorous and fashionable nightclub patrons, willing to receive a period-appropriate 1980s hairstyle if required, and comfortable working around atmospheric smoke and herbal cigarettes used during filming.

You must be available for costume fittings in Brooklyn, New York, as well as filming. Ability to follow production direction and maintain a professional attitude on set is required.

This is a SAG-AFTRA production. Rate is $231 for 8 hours.
