Job summary

Public Consulting Group, LLC is seeking a Background Check Specialist to support federal revenue management for the Wisconsin Department of Children & Families. The role focuses on conducting criminal history and abuse/neglect screenings to ensure safety and licensing standards for caregivers working with children.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or relevant experience; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in payroll and accounts payable operations is a plus.
• Strong attention to accuracy and detail in all tasks.

Responsibilities

• Runs statewide and Milwaukee County child abuse or neglect background checks for in-state and out-of-state agencies.
• Populates management reports and dashboards.
• Creates and maintains regular and ad hoc reporting as assigned.
• Develops schedules to meet deliverable deadlines for all assignments.
• Collaborates with management on efficiency improvements.
