Job summary

ForgeNest is seeking a Backend Systems Engineer to design and deliver backend services for their Industrial IoT platform in Grandview Heights, OH. You’ll work with robotics, controls, and software teams to map telemetry, ship secure APIs, and refine data pipelines for live dashboards.

You’ll be hands-on with SQL/NoSQL data modeling, RESTful and event-driven interfaces, and occasional frontend tasks using TypeScript/React to finish features end-to-end.

Qualifications

• Backend experience with scalable services and APIs.
• Proficiency in one or more: Node.js, Python, Go, Java.
• Hands-on work with SQL and/or NoSQL databases and data modeling.
• Experience with RESTful or event-driven APIs and real-time data.

Responsibilities
