Job summary

Wealth.com, the leading estate planning platform, is seeking an Associate Software Engineer to design, build, and scale backend systems used by tens of thousands of financial advisors and their clients. You will work on a TypeScript-first stack with ownership over architecture, deployment, and monitoring.

We’ll match you to the team where you’ll contribute most—estate planning, tax planning, Esther AI, or platform/integrations—in a fast-paced fintech environment in NYC.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of professional software engineering experience shipping backend systems to production.
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript, or deep experience in another typed language with ramp to TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience designing and operating systems at meaningful scale — real traffic and data volumes.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate backend services powering Wealth.com's products.
• Take features from spec through design, implementation, testing, deployment, and post-launch monitoring; own what you ship.
• Write production-grade TypeScript code with strong testing and observability.
