Job summary

Dormont Manufacturing Co is seeking a Backend Support Software Developer for a fully onsite role, directly supporting the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). You will enhance code, integrate backend solutions, and ensure systems remain secure and reliable.

Key responsibilities include troubleshooting backend issues, developing functionality in GitLab, and collaborating with Agile teams. The ideal candidate will have advanced experience with Python, C#, and REST APIs as well as an active Top Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain SCI post-hire.
• DoD 8570 compliance (Security+ or higher).
• 3+ years of experience in Python and C#/Java frameworks.
• 4+ years with unit testing, CI/CD tools, and GitLab.
• Strong experience troubleshooting REST APIs, backend databases, and distributed applications.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex backend issues involving REST APIs, databases, and applications.
• Develop, enhance, and document backend functionality within GitLab repositories using DevOps practices.
• Collaborate with Agile teams in sprint planning, standups, and testing activities.
