Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years building internet-scale web or service applications.
• Experience with Java, cloud services, testing, CI/CD, service APIs, and modern agile development.
• Preferred: AWS, big data tools, infrastructure as code, scalable systems, mentoring, and familiarity with React/TypeScript/JavaScript.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and enhance Java backend components and tier-one microservices for the Unified Messaging Platform.
• Own features end to end, improve service scalability and reliability, guide junior developers, collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Provide rotational on-call support.
