Job summary

Game Plan Tech LLC is seeking a Backend Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain the back-end components of our web applications. You’ll build RESTful APIs and ensure scalable, secure server-side solutions that meet customer and business objectives.

You’ll collaborate with product managers, designers, and frontend developers, review code, improve development processes, and stay current with evolving technologies. Remote work is supported for a geographically distributed team.

Qualifications

• Experience with backend technologies like Java or Python.
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of web security principles and best practices.
• Experience with containerization and Kubernetes-based deployments.

Backend Software Engineer

Role Overview

We’re seeking a highly skilled and motivated Back End Developer to join our dynamic development team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the back-end components of our web applications. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and reliable server-side solutions that meet the needs of our customers and business objectives.

Desired Qualifications

• Expertise in back-end technologies like Java, Python, or similar languages
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines
