Job summary

Code Compass is seeking a Backend Software Engineer to design and build core backend systems powering AI-driven security products. You will work across Go, Python, and TypeScript while solving security and infrastructure challenges, and collaborate with SOC teams during onboarding.

You will own key platform components from day one, with high ownership and the opportunity to shape the product in a fast-paced, venture-backed environment.

Qualifications

• 1-4 years of backend-focused software engineering experience.
• Experience with security, cybersecurity, SOC, DLP, IAM, or insider threat systems.
• Startup or fast-paced engineering environment experience.
• Interest in working directly with customers.
• Ownership to own core platform components from day one.

About the Role:

As a Backend Software Engineer, you will design and build core backend systems powering AI-driven security products. You'll work across Go, Python, and TypeScript while solving complex security and infrastructure problems. You'll also work directly with customer security teams during onboarding, gaining unusual exposure to real-world security use cases and helping shape the product based on customer needs.
