Job summary

Justworks is seeking a Software Engineer in New York to own large-scale projects from discovery to launch, focusing on customer impact and measurable outcomes.

You will collaborate with a cross-functional team to solve customer challenges while improving the performance, reliability, and scalability of our systems. The role emphasizes mentorship, leadership, and building secure, high-availability infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of professional development experience.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, Node.js or Ruby.
• Solid SQL skills and understanding of database fundamentals.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Experience collaborating with designers and product managers on feature development.
