Job summary

BeaconFire Inc. in Central New Jersey is seeking motivated C++ Software Engineers to help build scalable backend applications and Generative AI solutions. You will work on RESTful APIs, enterprise services, and data-driven backend systems using C++, Java, or other OO languages.

You'll have opportunities to explore Java-based backend development, Generative AI tools, and modern AI technologies within an Agile team. This is a full-time role with visa sponsorship available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS/CE/IT or related field.
• Strong programming and problem-solving skills.
• Solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Experience with C++, Java, C#, Kotlin, or another OO language.
• Good understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Willingness to transition into Java-based backend development.
• Interest in Generative AI, LLM, and Agentic AI technologies.

What You'll Do

Backend Software Development

• Develop scalable, production-ready backend applications and services.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Apply strong knowledge of OOP, data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles.
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases and SQL.
• Write clean, efficient, maintainable, and reusable code.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
• Participate in code reviews and follow software engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with Agile/Scrum teams throughout the development lifecycle.
• Support deployment, monitoring, CI/CD, security, and application performance.
• Apply your existing C++/OOP programming experience to Java-based enterprise backend development.
