Job summary

Snowflake is hiring a Software Engineer to design and build backend services for the Data Cloud, enabling secure data sharing across internal and external organizations. You will work across Apps & Collaboration, Marketplace, Data Governance, and more, contributing to distributed platforms at scale.

Join a world-class team to collaborate with PMs, architects, and other engineers, improving processes and tooling while following strict security standards.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years’ of industry experience designing, building, and supporting large-scale systems.
• Experience in customer-facing product development and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Fluency in Java, Python, and SQL.
• Familiarity with database internals or data governance is a plus.
• BS/MS/PhD in Computer Science or related majors, or equivalent experience.

• Drive initiatives for the globally distributed infrastructure.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, engineering teams, and business groups to deliver end-to-end solutions.
