Job summary

TrueFoundry is seeking a Backend Intern to join our Engineering team in San Francisco. You will help realize the product vision by deploying production-ready ML models with monitoring, and enabling scalable model deployment across diverse sectors.

You will build integrations with platforms to fit customer workflows, write maintainable Python code, and develop gRPC and REST API servers while working with Thrift and Protobufs.

Qualifications

• Experience with concurrent/distributed programming is a plus.
• Open-source contributions are preferred.
• Education: IIT engineers are highly preferred.
• Experience with ML domain is a plus.

Job description

We're looking for a Backend Intern to join our Engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Help realize the product vision: production-ready machine learning models with monitoring within moments, not months.
• Help companies deploy their machine learning models at scale across a wide range of use-cases and sectors.
• Build integrations with other platforms to make it easy for our customers to use our product without changing their workflow.
• Write maintainable, scalable, performant Python code.
• Build gRPC and REST API servers.
• Work with Thrift, Protobufs, etc.
• Assist in building and optimizing our outbound funnels.

Qualifications

• Contribution to open-source repos is preferred.
• Experience writing concurrent and distributed programs, AWS Lambda, Kubernetes, Docker, Spark is preferred.
• Experience with at least one relational and at least one non-relational database is preferred.
• Prior work in the ML domain will be a big boost.
• Education: IITians are highly preferred, especially in engineering and technology.
