Job summary

Speechify is seeking a Backend Developer to handle API design and maintenance. Qualifications

• Proven experience in backend development, particularly with TypeScript and Node.js.
• Direct experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and other cloud services.
• Efficiency in prioritizing tasks based on urgency and impact.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain robust APIs including public TTS API.
• Oversee and enhance the backend API landscape for performance.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams on product strategy.

Skills

Backend development with TS/Node

Experience with GCP

Knowledge of AWS or Azure

Experience with Docker

Proficiency in Kubernetes
